About the role

Onit is seeking a full‑stack software engineer to build and enhance its AI‑driven legal operations platform. The position is based in Pune, India and focuses on developing reliable business applications using C#, .NET and Microsoft SQL Server while collaborating with product, QA and design teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test and maintain C#/.NET applications with clean, well‑documented code.
Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and other database objects in Microsoft SQL Server.
Debug, troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, and participate in peer code reviews.
Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
Manage source code using GitLab, handling branches, merge requests and version control.
Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude to boost productivity and code quality.

Eligibility

Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong grasp of object‑oriented programming, debugging and problem‑solving.
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
Experience using Git for source control and familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.
