Software Engineer

About the role

NCR Atleos is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality software solutions for its ATM and financial self‑service platforms. The role involves integrating AI/ML capabilities, working within an Agile scrum team, and ensuring robust, secure applications on Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications using JavaScript, .NET, C#, Angular, HTML/CSS, and TypeScript.
• Integrate AI/ML features via APIs or SDKs, applying prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimate tasks, and commit to sprint goals as a scrum team member.
• Produce technical documentation, user help materials, and contribute to knowledge bases.
• Identify and implement process improvements, maintain code quality using tools like GitHub, Sonar, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, ensure software quality, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Eligibility

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, Angular, TypeScript, and Python.
• Experience with AI/ML integration, Windows 10/11, and Agile development practices.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, Docker, and related tooling.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
