About the role
Microsoft Ads Editor is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to design and deliver a cross‑platform desktop application. You will work with React, TypeScript, C# and .NET, mentor early‑career engineers, and ensure the product meets performance, reliability and accessibility standards.
Responsibilities
- Guide junior engineers and collaborate with product, design and platform teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
- Lead design discussions, own technical OKRs, and drive improvements in reliability and performance of the editor.
- Conduct code reviews, incorporate feedback, and champion best coding practices.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, high‑quality releases.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Debug and resolve issues across UI, API and data layers, including bulk data processing and offline workflows.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, object‑oriented design and version control (Git).
- Experience building accessible, inclusive user interfaces.
Skills
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript for building performant front‑ends.
- Strong C#/.NET expertise for backend or integration components.
- Familiarity with Electron or other cross‑platform desktop frameworks.
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting across the full stack.
- Understanding of accessibility (A11y) standards and inclusive design.
- Experience handling bulk data processing and offline workflows.
