Junior Developer

About the role

Larsen & Toubro is looking for a Junior Developer to embed AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into its digital learning and platform products. The candidate will work primarily with Python to build scalable, AI‑powered applications, collaborate across teams, and help bring emerging AI technologies to market.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI features into digital learning platforms.
• Build AI-driven applications using LLMs, NLP, RAG, embeddings, and vector stores.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs that connect AI services with existing systems.
• Write clean, scalable Python code and assist with prompt engineering for LLMs.
• Support data preparation, model evaluation, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, UI/UX, data and engineering teams and participate in code reviews.

Skills

• Python programming
• Generative AI and LLM development
• Prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) and REST API design
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit‑learn, LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Version control with Git/GitHub and basic SQL knowledge
