Graduate Engineer Trainee

About the role

Johnson Controls is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees across two India locations – Bangalore and Pune – giving 2025 and 2026 batch freshers a strong start in IT, cybersecurity and infrastructure roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and managing tools like Azure AD, Okta, Saviynt or SailPoint for user provisioning, access reviews and Single Sign-On.
• Support implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication, privileged access management and policy enforcement.
• Help monitor system logs, analyse security events and respond to incidents under supervision.
• Contribute to scripts and workflows for identity lifecycle management (joiner / mover / leaver) using Python or PowerShell.

Eligibility

• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Batch Year: 2025 or 2026 graduating batch.
• Academic Performance: Typically above 50% with no active backlogs.

Skills

• Familiarity with programming (Python, Java, C#), basic networking, servers and IT infrastructure concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
