Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack Finance

About the role

Intuit is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to lead the IES Contracts POD within its Finance, Legal & Privacy technology group. The role focuses on shaping the technical vision, delivering end‑to‑end lead‑to‑cash solutions, and collaborating with product, design and operations teams in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technology roadmap for the Contracts domain, aligning with cross‑org architects.
• Gather requirements, create specifications, and manage project and test plans.
• Design, prototype and build applications, staying hands‑on with coding and code reviews.
• Measure success through metrics that reduce the lead‑to‑cash cycle for mid‑market customers.
• Guide teams through ambiguous problems, validate solutions and influence product roadmaps.
• Promote platform‑centric thinking, balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term strategy.
• Provide technical mentorship, conduct design reviews and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Implement agentic workflows, automated testing and Dev‑QE‑Ops practices across the delivery lifecycle.

Eligibility

• Minimum 10 years of experience designing large‑scale finance or ERP systems.
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Proven ability to spend the majority of time coding and reviewing code.

Skills

• React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for front‑end development.
• Java, Spring Boot, Python for back‑end services.
• AWS cloud services and Oracle SQL/PLSQL databases.
• REST/GraphQL APIs, Domain‑Driven Design and hexagonal architecture.
• Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and Test‑Driven Development.
• Experience with AI‑assisted coding tools and agentic workflow automation.
