Associate Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

InfoTrust is seeking an Associate Full-Stack Engineer to join its lean, high-impact engineering team in India. This role offers a 100% remote working opportunity for skilled engineers with 1 to 4 years of experience who want to move beyond simple "ticket-taking" and take real ownership of product modernization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain & Modernize: Support the existing AWS-based product while incrementally transitioning features toward a new, cloud-agnostic architecture.
• Forensic Debugging: Identify the root causes of issues in legacy logic by thoroughly investigating code history to recommend long-term architectural cures.
• Feature Development: Build, rigorously test, and ship responsive front-end components using Vue.js alongside robust backend services in Python.
• Collaborative Support: Take full ownership of maintenance tickets and QA tasks, acting as a force multiplier for senior architects.
• Self-Sufficient Problem Solving: Research unknowns and propose actionable "next steps" independently before escalating issues.

Eligibility

• Experience: 1–4 years of professional experience writing clean, maintainable code in Python and Vue.js (or strong experience in React/Angular with a willingness to transition to Vue).
• Mindset: You possess a "forensic" mindset—you enjoy tracing data flows through complex systems and "reading" code just as much as writing it.
• Infrastructure & Tools: Foundational experience navigating AWS for legacy maintenance. Comfortable using Docker and Git.
• Database Knowledge: Proficient in querying and managing data in Postgres or MySQL.
• Domain Interest: High interest in architectural patterns and web privacy (pixels, cookies, and browser mechanics).
