About the role
Hitachi Energy is looking for fresh engineering graduates to join as Associate Project Engineers in Cyber Security at its Chennai office. The role involves safeguarding OT and SCADA networks, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure and maintain firewalls and other network security devices.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and incident response for OT environments.
- Support SCADA‑based projects by applying cybersecurity best practices.
- Ensure solutions adhere to IEC 62443 and related standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports and status updates for stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Instrumentation engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of networking, firewalls and cybersecurity concepts.
- Basic knowledge of IEC 62443 standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools for reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
