About the role
The position is a full‑time, onsite role in Chennai where you will ensure the quality and reliability of embedded software by designing, developing and executing comprehensive test strategies across unit, integration, system and regression phases.
Responsibilities
- Create and run test cases for embedded software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to boost verification efficiency.
- Carry out regression testing to confirm new changes do not break existing functionality.
- Perform system testing to validate end‑to‑end performance of embedded solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, flag risks and give timely quality feedback.
- Document test plans, cases, results and defect reports accurately.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded software testing.
- Strong knowledge of verification and validation principles.
