About the role

Graviton Research Capital is looking for a fresh graduate to join its engineering team and build ultra‑low‑latency software that powers quantitative research and live trading. You will work on high‑performance systems where every microsecond counts, collaborating closely with researchers and senior engineers to turn complex ideas into production‑ready solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high‑performance, low‑latency components in modern C++.
  • Develop distributed infrastructure that ingests and processes massive market‑data streams.
  • Profile code, identify micro‑second bottlenecks, and optimise both software and hardware pathways.
  • Build robust Linux‑based tools and platforms that support quantitative research and live trading.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews and technical design discussions.
  • Take ownership of features from design through deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

Eligibility

  • Graduation year 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a similarly analytical discipline.
  • Minimum CGPA of 8.5 and no active backlogs.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture and networking.
  • Passion for writing clean, efficient and reliable code.

Skills

  • Proficiency in C++.
  • Experience with Linux system programming.
  • Understanding of networking, concurrency and multithreaded application development.
  • Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and object‑oriented design.
  • Familiarity with high‑performance computing concepts and distributed systems.
