Network Implementation Engineer

About the role

Google is hiring a Network Implementation Engineer (University Graduate) in Mumbai for early-career engineers passionate about networking and data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network dashboards and alerting systems for anomalies and performance issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents of low to moderate complexity affecting wired and wireless networks, routing, switching, firewalls, etc.
• Manage user-reported network issues submitted via the ticketing system and provide timely updates to users and stakeholders on ticket status
• Implement routine and low-impact network changes following approved Change Requests (CRs) and MOPs

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 1 year of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers, enhanced interior gateway routing protocol, IP routing, LAN switching, data center operations
