About the role

Goldman Sachs is seeking a talented Software Engineering – Data, Lakehouse and AI Data Platform Engineer at the Analyst tier for its engineering hub in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support highly reliable batch and streaming data pipelines on Goldman Sachs’ modern Lakehouse platform.
• Work extensively across ingestion, schema evolution, and data curation layers to deliver scalable data products optimized for complex analytics and financial AI use cases.

Eligibility

• 1+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative discipline.

Skills

• Robust hands-on coding proficiency in either Python or Java.
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL, including deep query performance tuning, optimization, and complex diagnostic analysis.
