About the role

Mouser Electronics is looking for a fresh Web Developer to join its e‑commerce team. The role involves designing, building, testing and maintaining web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies while collaborating with analysts, designers and QA engineers. You will work in a hybrid setting from Bangalore, contributing to a fast‑moving online component‑distribution platform.

Responsibilities

  • Gather user requests, draft technical specifications and estimate effort for new or modified software features.
  • Develop, test and deploy web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, SQL Server, Visual Studio and related web technologies.
  • Apply best practices for clean, readable, testable and maintainable code, and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, designers, architects and quality analysts throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Design and write SQL/T‑SQL scripts, stored procedures and ensure proper database design.
  • Follow Agile development methodology and handle production issues when they arise.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in Microsoft .NET, MVC/Core, and digital experience platforms.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology).

Skills

  • Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC/Web Forms.
  • Strong JavaScript knowledge, including jQuery, AJAX and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with SQL Server, T‑SQL scripting and database design.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, TFS, and Agile development practices.
  • Understanding of web content management and digital experience platforms.
