The role is remote‑first, focuses on performance, accessibility, consistency and reliability, and requires a blend of strategic vision and hands‑on implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the technical direction of the web UI platform, balancing long‑term architecture with day‑to‑day delivery.
  • Lead large‑scale cross‑team migrations and initiatives, ensuring smooth rollout without disrupting product velocity.
  • Establish reusable patterns, standards and paved‑path tooling that reduce cognitive load for many engineering teams.
  • Produce design and architecture proposals, evaluate trade‑offs, and build consensus across engineering, product and design.
  • Mentor engineers of all levels through design reviews, code reviews and pair programming.
  • Advocate for platform priorities to senior leadership and secure needed resources.

Eligibility

  • 9+ years of software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Associate’s degree + 8 years, Bachelor’s + 7 years, Master’s + 5 years, Doctorate + 3 years).
  • Strong background in building and maintaining production‑grade software in languages such as JavaScript, Java, C++, Python, Go, or similar.
  • Proven ability to deliver large, complex systems at scale.

Skills

  • Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Solid understanding of web performance metrics, accessibility standards and server‑side rendering.
  • Experience designing design systems, shared component libraries, and platform‑wide tooling.
  • Ability to drive cross‑team migrations and coordinate rollout strategies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to influence multiple stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with annual bonuses and equity participation.
  • Fully remote work setup with flexible hours.
  • Generous learning and development budget, including access to GitHub Copilot.
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage.
  • Inclusive culture that values diversity, growth mindset and collaboration.
