Data Science Intern

About the role

GE Aerospace is looking for a Data Science Intern to join its Bengaluru research centre. You will work within the Data Science & AI team to explore, prototype and implement generative AI, machine learning and statistical solutions that support the Customer Experience and Commercial Sales functions. The internship offers hands‑on exposure to modern AI tools, cloud platforms and large language models under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to build and test data‑science solutions using GenAI, Python, cloud services, statistics, machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Partner closely with an assigned mentor to drive project milestones and deliverables.
• Analyse, design, test and integrate components that satisfy business standards and product requirements.
• Document all technical data generated during the project in line with organisational policies.
• Prepare and present findings, technical reports and visualisations to stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Enrolled in B.Tech (3rd or 4th year) or M.Tech (1st or 2nd year) programmes at a recognised institute.
• Academic background in Computer Science/IT with a focus on Data Science or AI (preferred).
• Minimum CGPA of 7.0/70% with no active backlogs.
• Obtain a No‑Objection Certificate from your college before the offer is issued.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
