Senior Front End Architect - Client Engagement

About the role

Gartner is seeking a Senior Front End Architect for its Client Engagement team. The role involves shaping front‑end architecture, building reusable frameworks, and guiding multiple product teams to deliver high‑performance web applications for millions of users, primarily using React and Next.js, within a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and guide teams to create modern front‑end solutions at massive scale.
• Define and evolve the technology roadmap for client‑experience applications.
• Collaborate with product, SRE, and DevOps engineers in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Ensure security, performance, and quality through best engineering practices.
• Drive R&D and modernization initiatives using open‑source technologies and containerized pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and champion adoption of cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Eligibility

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development or architecture.
• Proven expertise in designing front‑end architectures and patterns.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of large‑scale projects.

Skills
