About the role

Fynd is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) intern to join its engineering team in Mumbai. The six‑month, on‑site internship offers hands‑on experience in designing, developing and executing both manual and automated test cases for web and software applications, while collaborating closely with developers and QA engineers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and run manual and automated test cases for web or software products.
Work with developers and QA peers to log, track and resolve defects.
Create and maintain test scripts, test data and related documentation.
Participate in functional, regression, smoke and integration testing cycles.
Validate builds and releases against defined quality standards.
Assist in test‑automation initiatives using suitable frameworks and tools.

Eligibility

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
0‑1 years of experience in software testing, development or related internships.
Basic grasp of software development and testing fundamentals.
Familiarity with at least one programming language.
Willingness to work on‑site in Mumbai for the full six‑month period.
Availability for a six‑day work week.

Skills

Manual testing and automated testing concepts.
Test‑automation tools or frameworks (exposure preferred).
API testing using tools like Postman.
Version control with Git.
Understanding of Agile or Scrum practices.
