About the role

The Fiserv Internship 2026 Technology Summer Intern programme is a structured 10-week paid summer internship designed to give engineering students exposure to enterprise-grade systems in application development, cyber security, mobile solutions, network engineering and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Application Development: Support the design, coding, testing and documentation of business applications under senior engineering mentorship.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in test planning, automation script execution and defect tracking for high-volume payment systems.
• Mobile & Web Solutions: Contribute to user-facing mobile and web modules that handle real financial transactions.
• Cyber Security: Assist in vulnerability scanning, secure code reviews and basic threat-modelling tasks.
• Database & Data Tasks: Write SQL queries, validate data pipelines, and help create dashboards on PowerBI or similar tools.

Eligibility

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, Mathematics, MIS or any STEM stream.
• Batch Year: 2024 / 2025 / 2026 graduates expected to complete their degree by May 2026 or December 2024.
• Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (roughly 60% or 6.5 CGPA equivalent).

Skills

• Working knowledge of any of these is a plus – Java, C / C++, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, ReactJS, Oracle, Linux, JCL, PowerBI.
• Soft Skills: Strong written and oral communication, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
