Software Engineer

About the role

Deepwatch is looking for a Software Engineer to design and build data‑driven security features. You will develop scalable backend services, work with real‑time streaming pipelines, and collaborate with product, security, and data teams to enhance threat detection capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement intelligent, data‑centric features for security analytics.
• Build and maintain high‑throughput backend services and micro‑services.
• Develop real‑time data streaming solutions using Kafka.
• Contribute to distributed system design, scalability, and performance tuning.
• Partner with product, security, and data teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Apply modern engineering tools to improve code quality and delivery efficiency.

Eligibility

• 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Java programming skills; Python knowledge is a plus.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
• Proven ability to build backend APIs and micro‑services.
