About the role

Datavail is actively hiring Trainee Database Administrators for fresher 2024, 2025 and 2026 batch graduates.

Responsibilities

• Database Administration: Provide day-to-day support, monitoring and maintenance of MSSQL Server databases for global enterprise clients.
• Helpdesk & Ticketing: Manage incidents and service requests through Service Now Helpdesk, ensuring SLA-driven resolution.
• SQL & T-SQL: Write, review and optimize T-SQL scripts, stored procedures and queries to support application teams.
• Cloud Database Operations: Assist in administering databases on AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including backups, restores and performance tuning.

Eligibility

• B.E / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc / BCS in Computer Science, IT or related streams
• Working knowledge of Database Management concepts, MSSQL Server and T-SQL

Skills

• Cloud Skills: Familiarity with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services is preferred
• Tools: Awareness of Service Now Helpdesk, SSIS, SSRS and AOAG (Always On Availability Groups)
