Senior Frontend Engineer - Rocket Growth

About the role

Coupang is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to drive the Rocket Growth team. Based in Bangalore, you will craft high‑performance, low‑latency user interfaces for massive B2C traffic using React, Vue and modern web technologies. The role is hybrid, offering three days a week onsite and two days remote, and focuses on building scalable micro‑frontend platforms that directly shape the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance, scalable UI components for customer‑facing applications using React and other modern frameworks.
• Create reusable, modular component libraries that ensure consistency across large systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences for high‑impact B2C products.
• Optimize rendering, loading time, and responsiveness to achieve low‑latency performance at massive scale.
• Own end‑to‑end frontend systems, driving reliability, performance, and engineering excellence.
• Continuously improve UI quality and functionality for millions of daily users.

Eligibility

• 4–7 years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Strong command of JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
• Proven track record building large‑scale B2C web applications.
• Deep understanding of component‑based architecture and design systems.
• Experience with Node.js for frontend‑backend integration.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize frontend performance and troubleshoot browser‑level issues.
