About the role

Chryselys is seeking a senior engineer to design, build and operate production‑grade generative AI and agentic systems. The role focuses on creating reliable, secure, and scalable AI services that integrate large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, and cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop end‑to‑end GenAI platforms using LLMs, agents, and distributed‑system patterns.
Implement agent workflows with memory, context, state and session handling.
Build RAG pipelines, including embeddings, chunking, retrieval and vector‑database integration.
Use LangGraph or LangChain together with AWS AgentCore for sophisticated orchestration.
Create cloud‑native backend services in Python, TypeScript or Java and deploy them via Docker, CI/CD and serverless/containerized solutions.
Establish observability, security, and governance controls covering logging, metrics, tracing, IAM, encryption and data lineage.

Eligibility

Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade AI or agentic systems.
Experience designing and operating large‑scale, event‑driven or distributed architectures.

Skills

Strong programming in Python, TypeScript and/or Java.
Deep knowledge of LLMs, agent architectures, prompting and tool calling.
Hands‑on work with LangGraph or LangChain.
Proficiency with AWS services and AWS AgentCore.
Experience building RAG pipelines and using vector databases.
Containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD automation.
Observability practices covering logs, metrics, tracing and alerts.
Security and governance expertise including IAM, encryption and secrets management.
