About the role

Cashfree Payments is looking for a Frontend Engineer‑1 to join its Bengaluru engineering team. The role is full‑time, on‑site and targets developers with 1‑3 years of experience building responsive, accessible, high‑performance web applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

Develop responsive dashboards and web apps with React.js, ensuring accessibility and performance across desktop and mobile browsers.
Write clean, modular code and create unit/integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
Design reusable UI component libraries and design tokens to improve engineering efficiency.
Integrate complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs, managing async state with Redux Toolkit, Zustand or TanStack Query.
Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks, optimise Core Web Vitals and keep bundles lightweight.
Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers and backend engineers, participating in code reviews and technical discussions.

Eligibility

1 to 3 years of hands‑on frontend development experience, preferably with production‑grade SPAs.
B.E. or B.Tech (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

Skills

Proficient in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with modern styling solutions such as Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules or Styled Components.
Familiarity with frontend tooling like Vite, Webpack, Babel, npm/pnpm and Git.
Understanding of state‑management and data‑fetching tools (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query).
Ability to write unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library.
