Associate Engineer

About the role

Carrier is hiring fresh candidates for the role of Associate Engineer in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS) in real-time.
• Analyze system alerts, alarms, and trends to identify issues or inefficiencies.
• Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and fire systems.
• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance coordination.
• Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Knowledge of BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric).
• Understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and automation controls.
• Basic knowledge of networking and control protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret system data, trends, and technical diagrams.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and data analytics to derive operational insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, dashboards, advanced formulas).
