Frontend Engineer

About the role

As a Frontend Engineer at PayPay India, you will develop high‑performance web interfaces for mobile payment services, working from the Gurgaon technology hub. The role focuses on building consumer‑facing applications using a modern React‑based stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive web pages for payment flows using React and Next.js.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript and JavaScript code adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with backend and product teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experience.
• Optimize application performance and load times for high‑traffic scenarios.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to shared component libraries.
• Participate in testing and debugging to maintain high quality standards.

Eligibility

• Minimum three years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proven expertise with React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills.
