AI Researcher

About the role

Auric AI Labs is building AI‑driven autonomous systems for the Indian defence forces. As an AI Researcher you will design and prototype advanced retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, multi‑hop reasoning mechanisms and uncertainty‑aware inference models that operate reliably in mission‑critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop production‑grade RAG systems that can recognise and report gaps in retrieved information.
• Design multi‑step reasoning architectures that decompose complex queries, detect missing pieces and synthesise contradictory sources.
• Implement uncertainty propagation across long inference chains to avoid over‑confident incorrect answers.
• Engineer solutions for investigations that exceed a single context window, handling extensive tool‑call sequences and external knowledge compression.

Eligibility

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, up to 3 years.
• Graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
