Responsibilities

• Define and guide the technical implementation of major product features.
• Balance correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact when choosing solutions.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to influence strategy and direction.
• Write well‑tested, secure, and maintainable code that serves Atlassian customers.
• Address bugs and production incidents promptly as they arise.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes with a focus on security and performance.
• Mentor teammates and help raise the overall skill level of the group.
