Software Development Engineer - Frontend

About the role

VegaPay is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build modern, high‑performance credit‑card and payment interfaces. You will work with React, Redux and TypeScript to create responsive web applications that power fintech products for banks and enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise responsive web applications using React and Redux.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver new features.
• Write clean, well‑documented code with unit tests and perform debugging.
• Improve application performance and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Stay updated with front‑end trends and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.

Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel or ESLint.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
