Jr Team Member – IT Operations & Infrastructure

About the role

Tata Communications is seeking a Jr Team Member to join their IT Operations & Infrastructure team in Mumbai. The role involves maintaining seamless IT operations, managing routine service request fulfillments, and upholding strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for global internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in technical installations, equipment configurations, and system deployment activities as required.
• Maintain daily IT operational routines, system monitoring, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Proactively work towards achieving established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal performance metrics.
• Provide helpdesk support, incident management, and change request execution for end users to ensure operational efficiency.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) or Any Graduate Degree in Science, Commerce, Arts, or Computer Applications.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in IT operations, technical customer service, or helpdesk infrastructure support.

Skills

• Understanding of basic IT operations and helpdesk administration workflows.
• Knowledge of incident management, change management, and service request processes (ITIL framework basic awareness).
• Foundational knowledge of network infrastructure, OS installations, and routine troubleshooting.
