About the role
Swiggy Instamart is seeking a seasoned Lead – Projects for its Mumbai office. The role involves steering strategic initiatives from planning through delivery, aligning them with business goals, and mentoring a cross‑functional team.
Responsibilities
- Design end‑to‑end project plans, timelines and budgets while allocating resources efficiently.
- Lead and coach multidisciplinary project teams, providing clear direction and performance feedback.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks, preparing contingency actions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain regular stakeholder communication, delivering status updates and progress reports.
- Track key performance indicators, taking corrective steps to meet schedule and cost targets.
- Oversee vendor and contractor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a track record of handling complex, multi‑phase projects.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity managing cross‑functional teams.
- Proven ability to use project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills backed by data‑driven insights.
Skills
- Advanced use of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana or equivalents).
- Budget management, resource planning and cost control expertise.
- Risk management and mitigation strategy experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Process improvement and continuous optimization knowledge.
