About the role

Semtech SQA Internship 2026 is open for Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Interns in Pune. Semtech, which builds industry-leading cellular modules, routers and gateways, is expanding its India office in Pune and is looking for interns passionate about delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of software test plans under senior guidance
• Perform manual testing to support software debugging and quality improvements
• Log, track and verify defects using tools such as JIRA
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of automated test scripts
• Participate in team meetings, test reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions

Eligibility

• Actively pursuing a degree or certification in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related field
• Growth mindset – open to learning and receiving feedback
• Comfortable working in a team or autonomously on project work
• Basic understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP
• Familiarity with software testing principles and tools
