Product Development Engineer - 1

About the role

Phenom is looking for a Product Development Engineer (Level 1) to design and deliver high‑performance, secure backend services for its AI‑driven talent experience platform. Based in Hyderabad, you will create scalable SaaS solutions, define system architecture, and uphold operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and define the technical architecture that underpins Phenom’s SaaS offerings.
• Work independently on project‑based tasks while collaborating in a fast‑paced team.
• Provide analytical and technical solutions to evaluate new product ideas.

Eligibility

• Minimum 1 year of software development experience with Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP, JSON, MongoDB, Spring, React and design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience designing architecture and contributing to development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a rapid, collaborative environment.
