Software Tester Intern

About the role

NatWest Group is inviting applications for the Software Tester Intern position within its NatWest Digital X division in Bangalore. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract for 2026 graduates to gain hands-on experience in system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and non-functional software evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Support the completion of system integration, user acceptance, and regression testing within release schedule deadlines.
• Act as a key technical point of reference, executing both functional and non-functional tests to ensure all software and hardware environments are fit for purpose.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and escalate critical issues through the appropriate governance channels to ensure client-centric solutions.

Eligibility

• BE / B.Tech / M.Tech graduates with 0–1 year of experience in software testing.
• Practical experience in test design, planning, and execution is highly valued.

Skills

• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern testing methodologies.
• Experience or academic exposure to non-functional testing parameters (load, volume, security, penetration).
