Associate 1 - Trade & Customs

About the role

KPMG is hiring an Associate 1 for its Global Trade and Customs Managed Services team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on trade compliance activities such as data processing, document review, research on product specifications, and maintaining electronic records. You will work under senior managers, gradually taking ownership of tasks and contributing to client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Process and review trade‑related data and customs documentation.
• Research and gather product engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Maintain electronic files and internal retention databases.
• Audit transactional documents linked to customs entries.
• Assist senior team members and gradually own defined compliance activities.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects to improve trade compliance processes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Engineering, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Master’s degree may also be considered.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
