Data Engineering Apprentice

About the role

Eaton, an intelligent power management company, is hiring a Data Engineering Apprentice for its Digital Finance Data Engineering team at Pune.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines for ingesting, transforming and validating data from various source systems.
• Support data transformations using SQL and Python under established engineering standards.
• Help with data quality checks, reconciliation processes and basic troubleshooting of data issues.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Batch Year: 2024, 2025 and 2026 graduates can apply.

Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOINs, aggregations), basic Python and understanding of relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and familiarity with Snowflake, Spark or ADF.
