Technical Apprentice

About the role

Dell Technologies is hiring a Technical Apprentice for its LabOps Team at Bengaluru, a 12-month on-the-job training opportunity for B.E/B.Tech graduates in Computer Science and IT.

Responsibilities

• Attend all required training programmes as communicated.
• Learn to perform departmental tasks and follow up and coordinate activities requiring minimal problem solving.
• Install Windows OS on standalone servers and operating systems like Linux, Solaris, HP-UNIX and AIX.
• Install and configure test setups as required by the engineering team.
• Work on lab requests raised by engineers.
• Deploy and create Virtual Machines in a VMware vCenter environment.

Eligibility

• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Batch Year: 2024, 2025 and 2026 graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and MS Office; exposure to installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows OS; exposure to Linux and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
