Software Developer Intern

About the role

CAE is hiring freshers for the role of Software Developer – Intern at its Bangalore Whitefield campus.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new features and functions in the CrewManager application
• Rewrite small parts of the system to improve quality, stability and maintainability
• Contribute to regular maintenance and bug-fix tasks across the CrewManager codebase
• Work with senior technical staff to understand software issues and resolve them effectively
• Respond to customer complaints with software and act on suggestions for improvements and enhancements

Eligibility

• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or related engineering field
• Batch Year: 2024 / 2025 / 2026 graduating batches
• Strong academic record with consistent results across semesters
• Technical Skills: Mandatory Java/J2EE + Spring fundamentals

Skills

• Java/J2EE: Strong fundamentals in Java/J2EE; knowledge of Java 8+ is required
• Spring Framework: Working understanding of the Spring framework
• Web Services: Good knowledge of SOAP and RESTful services
• OOP: Strong fundamentals in Object Oriented Paradigms
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git is a strong plus
