About NCR Corporation

NCR Corporation is an American technology company that provides retail, hospitality, and digital-banking software, self-service hardware, and related services. The company was founded in 1884 in Dayton, Ohio as the National Cash Register Company by John H. Patterson. After more than a century in Dayton, the company relocated its global headquarters to Midtown Atlanta, Georgia in 2018, near Georgia Tech's Technology Square. In October 2023, NCR Corporation completed a strategic separation into two publicly traded companies: NCR Voyix, focused on digital commerce, retail, and restaurant-technology software and services; and NCR Atleos, focused on the ATM and self-service banking business including its global ATM-as-a-Service network. Both companies continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange. NCR has had a major presence in India for decades, with large engineering, product-development, and global-services centres in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, alongside a long-standing manufacturing footprint.
